Let's Recap
1. Create a Tracking Plan
To ensure we have all the data we need when we need it, we need to create a plan and ensure that it works correctly.

Tracking plans should answer the following questions:
-
What does success look like for the client, their boss, and you?
-
What might affect whether or not a user completes those actions?
-
How will we splice the data to see the impact of our work?

2. Make Data Easy to Find
We need to make our data so easy to find that it's hard to ignore; otherwise, you'll likely never look at it
In GA4, you can do this by customizing your navigation to make the most important reports easy to find!
Learn how to do it!
3. make data EAsy to understand
Analyzing data comes down to two things:
trends and outliers
& data visualization can help you identify these at a glance.

Remember: These are the things that should be investigated and they can be used to create hypotheses.
4. Create two sets of reports
Internal Reports
These reports should be analyzed to inform decision-making. This is where your cool tools should live 😎🤘
External Reports
This is the information the client (and their bosses) need and want to know. Give them the most important information first, tell them why that happened, and everything else can go "below the fold"

5. create a system for testing
We do not get better by doing the same thing over and over again.
The only way we get better is by trying new things. However, the things you should try *should* be data-backed.

Create a system for selecting tests, running them, and evaluating the results. And create a culture of testing!
